PANTHEON / 2015 - present
Pantheon is an ongoing body of work that pays homage to female artists. A pantheon can be defined as 'the officially recognized gods of a people'. This series is partly a response to Gerhard Richter's 48 Portraits of 1971-72, in which Richter depicted historical white men in black and white paintings for the 1972 Venice Biennale.
